The back of the alarm central unit (bottom) and bolster plate for the extended control unit (top) to enable quick and easy alarm control at the front door.
A total of 6 network outputs were distributed throughout the house with their cables hidden in walls and behind battens and skirtings (with some exceptions, like the distance from some of the outputs to the skirting).
Cables coming into the alarm central from external power supply, detectors, control units, siren, flashing light, phone, etc (backup power supply not visible here).

Installed a home network and a complete wired (i.e. not wireless) alarm system at my parents' house. Motion detectors, magnetic detectors on the doors, tamper protections/triggers, call service. Large focus on nice installation with hidden cables. Unfortunately not many pictures were taken (and the alarm installation is only visible on the "work in progress" pictures)...
